Sensei Veli Laitila
1956 – 2019
Veli Sensei passed away on July 6, 2019 due to a long-term illness.
Veli brought karate to Seinäjoki in the early 1980s.
Training became a way of life over the years.
Over the decades, Veli attended several camps in Finland and Europe.
At the dojo, Veli was known as a fair and modest karateka
and also as a demanding teacher.
Veli remains in the memories of the karatekas as a significant person and as a skilled teacher.
